About the Webinar

Most people who attempt to restructure their families do so without retaining full-service family lawyers to represent them. Whether you are serving in the role as neutral mediator or as an aligned consultant for clients on a limited-scope basis, this workshop will provide the conceptual foundation and strategies to better help families who do not have the resources or choose not to engage full-service lawyers.

Unbundling legal services has been found to meet ethical standards in EVERY jurisdiction, if two conditions are met: 1) There is informed consent by the client to understand the benefits and risks of limited scope professional help and, 2) There is a written agreement that delineates the allocation of tasks between client and lawyer.

In addition to discussing how you can meet these conditions, this workshop will expand informed consent to demonstrate how you can help both clients together select limited scope lawyers, mental health professionals, and financial professionals. This selection may include joint interviews for which you can help both clients and professionals prepare, and after which you can help your clients make the best choice for them and for their children.

Clients and professionals express much satisfaction with these new protocols and, as such, they can help you expand your practice.
