WHAT: QPR stands for QUESTION, PERSUADE, REFER. QPR Institute provides training on how to detect key warning signs that someone may be contemplating suicide. This is NOT suicide counseling training but will inform you how to recognize the warning signs, offer hope to a person, and encourage and direct someone to get help.
WHY: This is a little different subject matter for the IMA webinar but we hope you'll find it beneficial. Idaho is in the top five in the nation per capita for suicide, and a lot of our clients are in depressing, stressful situations. This one hour could be the most satisfying training you've ever had.
